Standardization is another core dimension of chassis and cabinet design. GB/T 3047.1-1995 specifies the basic dimension series for panels, racks, and cabinets with a height base of 20mm. Modular electrical cabinets with a width of 375mm to 500mm have clear standards for size, validation samples, testing conditions, requirements, testing, and qualification determination. This standardization enables the installation of instrument sets with grid spacing, directional connections, and assembly dimensions.
